A technology that understands space
Spatial AR is a VPS that allows you to scan indoor and outdoor spaces with a smartphone, accurately place augmented reality (AR) content within these spaces, and keep it anchored throughout the user experience.
Unmatched recognition capabilities
This spatial tracking technology recognizes the real environment with much more detail than experiences based on other tracking types. Surface tracking (World Tracking/SLAM) allows placing an AR scene in any environment but lacks intelligence in analyzing surfaces. Marker-based tracking (Image Tracking) does recognize a given environment but since it starts from a flat 2D photograph, it doesn’t understand depth. Spatial AR becomes the most comprehensive technology when you want to add AR information in a specific environment: it allows for a very detailed 3D scan of a static object or complete location, then overlay virtual content (3D models, audio, video). This content can be enriched by Artificial Intelligence — for example, showing real-time data from IoT sensors to an operator, or updating occupational risk prevention training based on employee progress.

ARGO has been implementing this spatial AR technology since 2020 for industrial companies seeking precise tracking for immersive experiences, enhancing the training and productivity of staff by anchoring instructions, steps to follow, or IoT sensor information in real time.
