Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about WebAR, ARGO's process, and working together.

What is WebAR?

WebAR is augmented reality that runs directly in a smartphone browser — no app download required. Users scan a QR code or tap a link, and the AR experience launches instantly in Safari, Chrome, or any modern browser.

Do users need to download an app?

No. All ARGO experiences are built on WebAR technology, meaning they run entirely in the browser. Your customers just scan a QR code — that's it.

What devices are supported?

WebAR works on all modern iOS (Safari) and Android (Chrome) smartphones. No specific hardware is required. Most devices from 2019 onwards are fully compatible.

What types of AR experiences does ARGO build?

We specialise in four areas: AR Activations (product launches, events, campaigns), AR Print (greeting cards, brochures, packaging), AR Training (sales enablement, HR, onboarding), and AR Visualization (product try-on, virtual showrooms).

How long does a project typically take?

A standard WebAR project takes 3–6 weeks from brief to delivery. Simple AR print projects can be completed in 2 weeks. Complex multi-scene activations may take 8–10 weeks. We'll give you a precise timeline after our first conversation.

What is the typical investment for a WebAR project?

Projects vary depending on complexity, number of scenes, and 3D asset requirements. We work with brands of all sizes — from focused single-use activations to multi-market campaigns. Contact us and we'll send you a tailored proposal.

Do I need to provide 3D models?

Not necessarily. We can work with your existing product images, CAD files, or physical products to create the 3D assets needed. If you already have 3D models, we can work with most standard formats (GLB, GLTF, OBJ, FBX).

How do users access the AR experience?

The most common trigger is a QR code printed on packaging, a poster, or a business card. Experiences can also be launched via a direct link, a button on your website, or an NFC tag. We help you choose the right trigger for your use case.

Can WebAR experiences be tracked and measured?

Yes. We integrate analytics so you can track scans, session duration, interactions, and conversion events. Reports can be connected to Google Analytics or delivered as a custom dashboard.

Is my data secure?

ARGO does not collect or store personal data from end users interacting with AR experiences. We comply with GDPR. Contact form submissions are handled securely and used solely to respond to your inquiry.
